STERRETT, Alab. – Wendy Word + forgiven has recently been making an impact on Southern Gospel and Christian Country radio. The group’s current single, “Lowest Time” will enter the Singing News Top 80 at #65 for the upcoming July 2008 edition of the chart. That song is the group’s first ever Top 80 single.

“We can’t even begin to tell you how happy we are to see our music reach more and more people,” said Wendy Word. “This song means a lot to us, and we’re happy to see radio take such a liking to it.”

“Lowest Time”, which was written by Wendy Word, is from the group’s latest album, Heartfelt, and is based on a true story.

Wendy Word said, “I am humbled to know that the song I wrote, ‘Lowest Time’, is touching people’s lives. Everything in that song is based on a true story. The people in that song are as real as you and me, and it touches my heart to know that their story is being heard by people around the world.”

“Lowest Time” is also impacting other charts – such as Christian Voice Magazine Top 100 (#45) and Gospel Music News Top 100 (#43).

“It’s always exciting to see that your music is touching lives,” mentioned Tony Word of Forgiven. “God has been so good to our ministry. Thank you to everyone for listening and playing our music!”

The group’s current Southern Gospel single, “Lowest Time”, was released to radio through Rhonda Thompson Promotions. Fans are encouraged to call their local radio station and request “Lowest Time” at both Southern Gospel and Christian Country radio.
