BLAIRSVILLE, Ga. – Georgia based group Next Chapter Quartet have recently finished recording vocals for their new recording.
Tentatively titled Pieces of the Past, the new recording will include songs that have meant a great deal to individual members and inspired them in their pursuit of music ministry. Songs like “Antioch Church House Choir”, “Sweetest Song I Know”, “I’ve Got That Old Time Religion”, “Too Near Home”, and eight other classics will be featured on the recording.
Jason Tapley, owner and lead singer for Next Chapter Quartet, said, “We went back and found these older favorites from our past and just had a blast recording them. We know that Southern Gospel fans of all ages will love this new album.”
Vocals for Pieces of the Past were recorded at Red Hill Digital in Carollton, Georgia. Tracks were recorded at Gold City’s Gold Mine Studios in Gadsden, Alabama. The new recording features production work by Jason Singleton and Corey Pearson.
Pieces of the Past features some of the industry’s best session players, including Danny Crawford, Joel Key, Johnathan Presnell, and Corey Peterson.
Pieces of the Past has a tentative release date of late summer.
Fans are encouraged to call and request the group’s latest radio single, “All Heaven Broke Loose”, at Southern Gospel radio. The song was written by Kimberly Allen (of The Allens) and John Lemonis. It can be found on Heritage Gold 2007, Vol. 2 compilation disc, cut #7.

We really enjoyed having your group at Bayou Sara Baptist Church last night. We had never heard of the group, but after last night, will never forget you!
We had never experienced a Quartet praying for the Churches Pastor. That was special!!! You can really see that you are singing for the Lord, and sharing the gospel with others. It shows that what you do is not just a job. Keep singing for "Our Lord" because time is running out!
So Blessed,
B.Jackson
