Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver Featured at JFK Center for the Performing Arts

Multi-award winning vocal group, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver was featured last night (Thursday, May 29) on the Millennium Stage of the John F Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC. According to received reports, the group performed many of their popular hits, including “Blue Train,” “Sadie’s Got Her New Dress On” and “Girl From West Virginia” before a packed crowd.

The East Tennessee native and his band are riding high on the success of their current recording, Help Is On The Way, from Crossroads Entertainment. Produced by Lawson, the recording features 14 songs, including the title cut, “Help Is On The Way,” which is the debut release to radio. Lawson and Quicksilver performed several songs from the recording, including the title cut and an a cappella tune, “He Made It Alright.”
