JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Southern Gospel/Christian country band the Dave Williford Band are sponsoring a giveaway supporting the group’s brand new single – “American Christian.”

The up and coming band is giving away a Sansa MP3 player with 1GB of space available on the player. In addition, the group’s currently untitled sophomore release will be preloaded on the player.

Dave Williford said, “We wanted to do something that would get fans excited about our new single, ‘American Christian’. We are super excited about the song and this giveaway.”

“American Christian” was released to Southern Gospel radio last week through Radio Active Airplay. “American Christian” is the second single from the Dave Williford Band’s latest recording, A King’s Ransom. The song was written by Dave Williford. The new single is the follow-up to the group’s debut single, “Forgiven”.

The Dave Williford Band was recently in the studio recording tracks for their upcoming new release. Tracks for the band’s currently untitled sophomore project were recorded at SoundTrack Studio in Jefferson City, Missouri. The new album will again feature original music from the pen of Dave Williford as well as some praise songs in the Dave Williford Band brand of country. The new album will also be available for digital download on various sites such as iTunes like the group’s previous release – A King’s Ransom.
