(Goodlettsville, TN) – Renaissance recording artist, Milton (Big Mo) Ostrander, has again been nominated in this year’s annual Diamond Awards.
Big Mo is best known for his songwriting and work as a solo artist traveling more than 80,000 miles a year. This year marks 27 years of full time ministry for Big Mo and his family. In fact, both Big Mo and his son Jeremy Ostrander have been nominated for the 2005 Diamond Awards to be presented during the National Quartet Convention in Louisville, Kentucky. Big Mo has been nominated in the final Top 5 for "Soloist of the Year", as well as "Songwriter of the Year". Jeremy has been nominated for "Christian Comedian of the Year".
Big Mo stated, "It's always an honor to be recognized by the fans for the work you do. I guess I will always be humbled by their faith in us. I appreciate it more than anyone will ever know. I must also say, my heart is about to burst with pride for my son Jeremy. Not only because he has made it to the Top 5 for Christian Comedian, but because I know the life has he has chosen to live everyday. He is dedicated to God and I am so proud of him."
Big Mo wrote the #1 song "The Call" for Mike Bowling. Of course, Big Mo has had his songs recorded by most every major artist in the business today. Big Mo’s current single, "When You Know Where It Is", is currently getting lots of airplay across America.

I was so glad to see about the upcoming awards for Big Mo and his son Jeremy. I have a request my husband was just recently diagnosed with liver failure due to a genetic blood disorder he inherited from his mother. He has many other medical problems but there is no cure the liver failure. I asked the doctors about a transplant and because of the genetic blood disorder it would ruin the new liver within a year. He is now in the nursing home. He loved to come to Virden and hear Big Mo. I was wanting a price sheet of songs or CD's that I could order for him so he could listen to them at the nursing home. Keep up the good work and good luck on the nominations.

Big Mo, Sharon and Jeremy have a true dedication and sincerety for the ministry. They are people of character and integrity...what they preach, they live. I appreciate them for their ministry, but most of all, for their friendship. Great going, guys!

Congratulations to Big Mo and Jeremy (and Sharon too)! I cannot think of people any more deserving of these honors. The Ostranders are some of the most humble and sincere folks that I know. Their ministry has touched countless numbers of lives, and the awards here cannot even begin to compare to the reward that awaits in Heaven. God bless you all, and we are looking forward to you coming back to Lafayette, IN!!

I am so proud, I am bursting with joy for you guys. You deserve not just these nominations but the awards as well. Like father like son, what a way for a son to follow in his fathers footsteps, Jeremy. I know you're as proud of your dad as he is of you. I love you both very much, you are special to me and my family, and you too Sharon, they couldn't have made it without you there to coach them on and love them when they felt like nobody else did. Encourage them when they felt discouraged. Lift them when they were down. You are a special wife and mother and you deserve an award too.
