The Beene Family, from Kingsport, TN, who recently celebrated a decade in their music ministry, announced today a plan to reorganize their tour schedule to include a significant cutback.
Brothers, Shandon, Landon and Brandon Beene and Brandon’s wife Chrysta Beene have spent the last ten years establishing themselves in the Southern Gospel Music field by singing an approximate 175 concert dates a year. The majority of their schedule has focused largely on the church market across the country and heavily on the West Coast.
The revised tour schedule is effective July 1st, 2008, and will limit the talented and well-respected family to a maximum of 100 concert dates a year. Seventy five percent of those dates will be dedicated to current and past relationships with church and concert promoters while twenty five percent of the dates will remain available to accommodate future growth.
Landon Beene, who also owns and operates Tribute Media Source, states, “We live in a new modern era, with new economic challenges, and a renewed need for healthy leaders on the church platform. Our focus for the future is to continue to maximize the growth of our music, the focus of our ministry and protect the health of our family life. The reorganization of our tour schedule has been in the planning stages for over a year, and we hope will promote the longevity of the Beene Family well into tomorrow. This is the future of our genre of music.”
