We are praying for Allen and his entire family. The last year has been very challenging for them with the death of his wife, Sharon. He had told us at NQC that he would be undergoing some tests because he hadn't been feeling well. We pray everything turns out to be fine for him.

Thank you so much for all your prayers. I am still in Barnes Hospital in St. Louis. They are still running tests on me, but they believe they know what has caused the mini-strokes I have had recently. It is called Orthostatic Hypotension. I am not sure if I spelled it right, but it simple means that when I stand to my feet, that by blood pressure bottoms out. I did originally have a little effect of the mini-strokes on the left side of my face, but that is all gone now. The Lord has been very gracious to me, & I am very thankful for that. Please continue to pray, for that is what is pulling me through all of this.

    Thanks & God Bless!!

    Allen Smith

    Brother Gene,
We (HEARTS OF FAITH) met you at the benefit for Allen's family last June in Missouri. Are you still playing our songs? We're hoping to have a new project over the winter months and will make sure to get a copy to you.
If you know of any TV station in your area that airs gospel music, please let us know. We have a brand new DVD of a song, "Susie's Eyes", that we'd love to send to whomever can use it.

    Take care,
    Donna

    Allen,

We are praying for your restored health and strength. I'm sorry I missed seeing you face to face at NQC. It was such a busy week and went by so fast it was just hard to do it all.
Please keep us updated on your progress.
    God Bless!

    Hi everyone!

I appreciate all of your continued prayers. I am home from the hospital now. They are now saying that I did not actually have a stroke. It was just the beginning of one. I was so close to the hospital, and received treatment in enough time to keep from having a stroke. The doctors say that I have Orthostatic Hypotension. In laymen's terms, it means that when I stand to my feet, my blood pressure plummets. So, we are now learning how to work around all of that. Please keep your prayers coming.
