Does anyone know what happened? I thought he was doing better and was in physical rehab in Nashville. This is such a loss.

My heart goes out to the Goodman family. Listening to Howard and Vestel sing gave us a glimpse of Heaven on earth. Howard will be missed! May we all follow the example of this precious, Godly man.

I experienced Southern Gospel Music for the first time at a Happy Goodmans concert when I was just 9 years old. Now, 25 years later they have the same affect on me. Howard lived up to his last name. He was truly a Good Man!

The memories of past late night cafe stops, stories, songs and ministries, are even more vivid today. So long Howard for a few more days. then eternal sharing. Our prayers Vestel.

Hello,

Howard Goodman was a great singer, songwriter, and performer! He will be greatly missed. The Happy Goodmans are the ones that turned my life around. I sing alot of their gospel songs but no one can minister to you like Vestal and Howard. Vestal sings from the heart with a love that comes from our God and Father above God is so so good to us and he nver leaves not even for one second he's continually with us 24/7. He's in a better place and has now been reunited with his brothers and family. Vestal please do not stop singing continue has much has you can because you are such a blessing to so many people around the world and especially to me it is completely uknown what it does to me and to others. I love you and Remember God is with you!

Howard's journey came to an end on Saturday. Gospel music's loss is heavens gain. God bless the Goodman family. Keep them in your prayers during this time.
