Foxy, one of Southern Gospel's greatest songwriters, producer of several records for several gospel groups, one of Southern Gospel's greatest barritones, and the founder of the mighty Kingmen Quartet will be greatly missed! We had the privilege in the late '70s and early '80s to see Foxy sing with the Kingsmen when they passed through San Antonio, TX, several times. One of the great songs he wrote was "Gone". He is "gone" from us, but he is not gone from Jesus, because he is alive and "well" in His presence now, Praise God!

Well, Foxy is finally at peace after so many years of suffering. Now his family can begin the healing process. Even though he will be sorely missed, we know that he can once more sing the praises of the Lord he served so faithfully for so many years. Praise God!

I will always remember when I first met him at a talent show, in Richmond,ky when I first started to sing even though I was not ready to sing at that time needed more practice, he never put me down, he encouraged me and now he is on that golden shore may God be with his family and comfort them and if they are not ready to go, may they be touched by the love of God and come to know the one that Eldridge Fox knew
