On April 7, 2008, Melvin Klaudt will be co-hosting Dove Broadcasting's Nite-Line program in Greenville, SC. This live program, shown at 8:00 - 10:00 PM, will be the first public viewings of some of the Klaudt's songs on video that they did not know even existed. The videos seemed to come out of nowhere and were produced in the 1960's and early 1970's. According to Klaudt this program will kick off "Phase Two" of the Family's ministry to Native Americans.
In 1928, 80 years ago, Mom and Dad Klaudt met and began to plan their heart's burden to see souls saved and brought into the Kingdom of God. R.H. Klaudt at that time was a teenage evangelist. Lillian Little Soldier was also a teenager doing mission work on her Fort Berthold Indian Reservation in North Dakota. In 1929 they married and continued to do mission work on Indian reservations. This lineage of faithfulness and obedience has now fallen on the shoulders of the Klaudt siblings.
Melvin Klaudt said, "I am humbled by the mantel that has been placed on me personally to hit the road and minister to some of the most forgotten people in this nation. We despereately need revival on our reservations and in this nation."
