NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Singer/songwriter Misty Freeman’s newest solo outing, What If I’m Right? Is now available. What If I’m Right? is Misty’s third solo recording and promises to be her most mature and lyrically driven album to date.

Titled What If I’m Right? – the new album features original songs penned mostly by Freeman with Jerry Salley, Zane King, Sonia Lee, and Bluegrass favorite Kim McLean. The album also features songs from Ronny Hinson, John Darin Rowsey, Sheri LaFontaine, Christine Byrd, Steve Hindalong, and more. The album is trademark Misty Freeman – a blend of inspirational, country, and alt-folk.

In addition, What If I’m Right? features guest vocals from Jason Crabb on “Rise to the Occasion.”

The first single from What If I’m Right? is “Beautiful Mistakes” which was written by Freeman and Zane King. The new song is now making an impact at radio. The song was #4 on the Singing News New Releases for the January 2008 edition of the chart. The song also debuted at #29 on the SoGospelNews.com Top 40 Weekly Chart this week and has been voted in the Top 5 Fan Favorites for the past five weeks.

Misty said, “This song (‘Beautiful Mistakes’) is so encouraging to me personally. Zane, Sonia and I wrote it based on Romans 8:28 – ‘God works all things for the good of those who love him.’”

“Another favorite song of mine is a song I co-wrote with the awesome Kim McLean – ‘Cinderella’,” mentioned Misty. “It’s so different. I’ve been signing it live and have been so happy that women and little girls alike are being touched by the message.”

Misty continued, “I have put so much of my time and heart into this CD. I’m really excited for everyone to hear it.”

Misty’s vocals were recorded at GoldenVine Studios in Hendersonville, Tennessee in addition to Platinum Lab Studio and Yankee Hill Studio both in Nashville, TN. The album was produced by Freeman and her father, Darrell Freeman (The Freemans).

What If I’m Right? is available to purchase on Misty’s site and at concerts now. The album will be available at retail in the coming weeks.

I have listened to Misty Freeman's new album and I think it is her best one yet. I love that she has written most of the songs. She is showing that she has a great range of sound, especially in the song Rise to the Occasion. I would love to see one of Misty's songs go to number one. She totally deserves it on this album.

I can tell that this album has had a lot of work put into it because every track sounds excellent. I like the different dynamics of each song. The words are sincere and meaningful, the music is tight, and the vocals are pure. God has blessed Misty w/ many talents...and she is using them well.

Misty's newest release contains sparkling vocals and wonderfully ear-catching songs. Not since my days working on the Row have I heard such artistry. I hope you will be as blessed as I have been by her latest work.
