Marion, NC(01/28/08)-Curt Davis is proud to announce his first solo release, Sheltered. Curt was formerly the baritone singer for the award winning Perry's and lead singer for The Whisnants. Curt is currently a member of the male trio, "Men of Praise", of Hickory, NC. Curt came off the road in 2001 and is currently serving as the minister of music at Pleasant Gardens Baptist in Marion, NC. Sheltered includes songs from the pen of Rodney Griffin, Jim Brady and Greg Day as well as other talented writers.

"This is a dream come true for me." says Davis. "I am so excited about this release and the songs are a testimony to my walk with Christ. My prayer is that those who listen will be as blessed by the songs as I have been."

The first single "Walking the Way" is set to be released by Spin-N-Motion to Southern Gospel radio next month. A CD release party is planned for Feb. 2nd.

In addition to the CD release, a brand new website has been unveiled with a large photo gallery, mp3 clips and blog.

Curt and his wife Carol live in Marion, NC with their 9 month old daughter, Ella.
