MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Deon and Susan Unthank, administrators of SoGospelNews.com, are proud to announce the addition of TK & McRae and Everyday Driven as featured performers for the upcoming 8th Annual SoGospelNews Fan Festival.
“We are very excited to be featuring these two new groups,” mentioned Deon Unthank of SoGospelNews.com. “Not only are both group’s excellent musicians – but they both have a real heart for ministry. We’ve found that our Fan Festival starts off being a series of concerts, but it ends up five nights of ministry. Our fans have come to expect that from the artists we bring in. TK & McRae and Everyday Driven are artists that don’t take things like that lightly.”
The annual festival is set for July 24-July 28, 2007. This year’s talent contest will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2007 at the River of Life Church in Smyrna, Tennessee. The contest will begin at 10:00 a.m. and will feature judges who are prominent members of the Southern Gospel community, including songwriters, producers, record label executives, artists, and more.
Tuesday evening’s performers include Booth Brothers, Karen Peck & New River, Three Bridges, Young Harmony, and Shiloh.
The Dove Brothers Quartet, Kingsmen, Anchormen, HisSong, Ed Crawford & the Mystery Men Quartet, and Jonathan White will be performing on Wednesday evening of the Festival.
Thursday night will feature an evening with Mercy’s Mark, TK & McRae, Everyday Driven, the Browns, Ann Downing, and Sunday Edition.
The Freemans, Prophets Quartet, Johnny Minick & Friends, Sharron Kay King, John Lanier, The Pathfinders, and Embrace will all be featured performers on Friday evening of the Festival.
The Festival will close out on Saturday evening with performances from the LeFevre Quartet, The Imperials, King’s Heralds, Kirk Talley, Daryl Williams Trio, Sondra Burnett, and the Quicks.
As in years past, this year's convention will remain free to the public. A love offering will be taken each night. The 8th Annual SoGospelNews Fan Festival and Talent Contest will be held at River of Life Assembly of God, Smyrna, Tennessee.
