Nashville, Tenn. – During a press conference held in downtown Nashville on Tuesday, February 20, 2007, the Gospel Music Association announced the nominees for the 38th Annual Dove Awards. The Daywind Music Group family was honored with 12 Dove Award nominations.

Leading the Daywind Music Group nominees is The Crabb Family, who is up for four awards including Artist Of The Year and Southern Gospel Recorded Song. Recent Grammy nominee, Kenny Bishop enjoys two nominations: Southern Gospel Recorded Song and Country Recorded Song.

The nominations received by Daywind Music Group are Artist Of The Year (The Crabb Family). Southern Gospel Recorded Song (“Nothing But The Blood,” The Crabb Family, “Prodigal’s Dad,” Kenny Bishop), Country Recorded Song (“Don’t Let Who You Are Keep You Away,” Kenny Bishop; “It Ain’t Over When It’s Over,” The Mike Bowling Group; “On The Other Side Of That Hill,” Barbara Fairchild), Traditional Gospel Recorded Song (“Can’t Nobody Do Me Like Jesus,” The Crabb Family), Inspirational Album (Blur The Lines, The Crabb Family), Southern Gospel Album (Graceland, The Mike Bowling Group; It’s So God, Brian Free & Assurance), Country Album (He Kept On Loving Me, Barbara Fairchild) and Special Event Album (Torch, Various Artists).

The Dove Awards will be held on Wednesday, April 25, 2007, at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, Tennessee.
