MADISON, WV - It's a special time for the Hopper family and their many fans across the country. Some months ago, to commemorate their years together in Christ-centered ministry, the original Hopper Brothers — Monroe, Will, Steve and Claude Hopper — joined Connie Hopper in the recording studio to work on a special reunion project. Now, this month, a traditional Southern Gospel music album, entitled, The Hopper Brothers and Connie: The Song Continues, has been released.
To add to the exciting news, the original group members are taking to the road again, after more than twenty years, and will be performing together at select Hopper 50th Anniversary Heritage Tour dates across the country. A nostalgic treat that's reminiscent of their former touring years, the original Hopper Brothers and Connie still demonstrate the stage presence, harmony and sincerity on the Gospel stage that has thrilled audiences since their launch in 1957. Audiences will recognize that these brothers from Madison, NC still have what it takes as they present powerful selections like “Follow Jesus,” “I'm Bound For That City,” “Try a Little Kindness,” “You Gotta Live More Like Jesus Everyday” and many others.
“I don’t know where all the years have gone,” said Connie Hopper. “However, this is an especially exciting time for all of us and the Lord continues to bless. Claude's brothers and I still enjoy singing together!”
