(Gallatin, TN) Shannon Bunch has just finished recording a brand new album at Chapel Valley Studio in Sharps Chapel, TN. This is his first recording in almost 3 years. The highly anticipated album was produced by Shane Roark as well as Shannon and will be under the brand new Sanctuary recording label.
Although Shannon writes about two thirds of his own music, several writers contributed to this album, titled “Take Me There.” Songs include works by Michael Smith (writer of Heirline’s “My Home”), Shane Roark, Randy Mobley, Jimmy McMillan (writer of the Galloways “Saving Grace), William Allbritton, Mark Willet and of course, Shannon contributed a few of his own.
You may remember Shannon from his recent radio singles “The Harvest is Ripe” and “One Day My Day Will Come.” Both songs shared time in the Singing News charts this year. His current single “It All Starts with a Song” was recently reported as a DJ Pick Hit for November and is receiving heavy airplay at many stations across the country.
About the recording Shannon shares, “I am so excited about this new album. I was really pleased with my last album and the success it had, but this album is even better. There are some awesome songs that I believe will touch the lives of many. Because it has been a few years since I recorded last, it was great to be back in the studio with the folks at Chapel Valley again.”
Look for the new album to debut mid to late January. To find out more about Shannon Bunch, please visit http://www.shannonbunch.com
