The Hoppers visit children in Bolivia
BOLIVIA - Claude and Connie Hopper, of the Hoppers, America's Favorite Family of Gospel Music, recently traveled to a rural area of Bolivia, in South America. They were joined by representatives of Compassion International, a Christian organization that offers assistance to needy children around the world. After spending time with a group of Bolivian children, Connie commented that it was an especially "thought provoking, eye opening journey into a very impoverished land of children who need our help." Claude was also touched by the experience, and immediately recognized the good work Compassion is doing in that land. "It's all being done through the help of Christians, generous men, women and families who sponsor a child," he added, noting that the need remains enormous.
According to Compassion International reports, there are at least 300-million children who are orphaned or homeless in the world. For more information about Compassion International, or to sponsor a child in Jesus' name, see http://www.thehoppers.com
