MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Sunday Edition, one of Nashville’s favorite groups, will host a special live listening party of the group’s brand new recording, Absolutely Free, for fans and industry professionals during the week of the National Quartet Convention.

The listening party will take place on Wednesday, September 13, 2006 in the Canterbury Room of the Executive Inn in Louisville, Kentucky from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.

“We are so excited and ready for everyone to hear this new album,” mentioned Deon Unthank, baritone for Sunday Edition. “We’ve already gotten such positive feedback about the album from those that have heard it. Our listening party is just going to be a fun time together and a chance for Sunday Edition to finally celebrate the completion of this new chapter in our ministry.”

All fans and industry professionals are welcome to come to the listening party.

Absolutely Free was produced by Donna Beauvais (of Hope’s Call) and engineered, mixed, and mastered by award winning engineer Steve Allen. The album features songs written by group members Amy Marie Unthank and Chris D. Unthank, as well as Rebecca J. Peck, Paula Stefanovich, Daryl Williams, and more.

The first single from the new album was recently shipped to Southern Gospel radio all across the country through Rhonda Thompson Promotions. The song, titled “Call On Jesus”, was written by Rebecca J. Peck. The song is already seeing a strong response from internet radio as it has already been added to several stations such as SGMRadio.com, GlobalSouthernGospel.com, RealSouthernGospel.com (formerly SGLive365), and more.

Randy Renigar of Global Southern Gospel said, “’Call On Jesus’ is a ballad that will stir your soul. With good lead singing and fine family harmony, the 4:15 goes by too fast. This song is going straight into heavy rotation for sure.”

The group’s last single, “He Keeps Lifting” (with special guest Johnny Minick), spent an impressive five consecutive months on the Singing News Top 80, which is virtually unheard of for new artists. The song peaked at #55 on the chart. A special bonus cut of “He Keeps Lifting” will be available on Absolutely Free.

Fans can get a sneak peak of Absolutely Free by visiting Sunday Edition’s MySpace which is currently streaming “Call On Jesus”, “Lift Up Your Eyes”, “Absolutely Free”, and “He Keeps Lifting” from the album.
