This should be interesting. Jim Murray and David Will were THE sound of the Imperials. It didn't matter if Terry Blackwood, Sherman Andrus, Russ Taff or Paul Smith was the lead singer, as long as Murray and Will were singing the Tenor and Baritone, they were a great group.

I also "discovered" the imperials when Armond, Dave, and Jim, and Russ were singing with them. Keith (comments above) hit the nail right on the head! It didn't matter which lead singer they had, their sound, music, and songs were great. I still have a pennant from a concert in 1985 with the autographs of all four singers (Armond, Dave, Jim, and Danny Ward) along with most of the band, hanging in the back hallway. I'm really looking forward to hearing them again. By the way, who is Rick Evans?

Rick Evans comes from California. Rick was with The Crownsmen in the late 70s and early 80s, Rick has known Armond and the group ever sense then at least. Rick also spent a good number of years with the Californians Quartet. Rick's Father the late Evert "Ev" Evens played Piano for The Songfellows for many years.

Hello to all of you. I sang with Dave Will with the Keystones (also Nick Bruno) a long time ago. I am coming to Nashville in May and would like to connect with Dave, and Nick again. Nick played the organ at our wedding...Dave was my Groomsman!! If these guys could contact me, I would love to see them while I'm there. I will be meeting with Garland Craft and David Holcroft. Please e-mail me back with information, or call my cell at 804-943-4096. THANKS...blessings to all.

disregard my last comment regarding our beloved Armond Morales. He is a good man. I am so excited that the Classic Imperials are doing what they are doing at this time. America and the World are ready to hear the Classic Imperials again. What a blessing from Heaven. Let Jesus be Glorified! blessings...

Where is your touring schedule. This is what I've wanted for years. I'm so out of it I didn't know you guys were touring. ("Head-In-The-Sand-Syndrome = Mortgage Industry Hazard) Awesome!

What a thrill to know that Armond, Dave and Jim are reunting. I loved the Impperials back in the days of Terry and Sherman, Jim and Armond. I can't wait to get that music in my home. I am hoping they don't do the contemporary stuff.
