GALLATIN, Tenn. – Nazareth Music Group is proud to announce the release of the debut single from label’s newest artist – Sharie. The new single – “Heaven Came Down” is being released through a partnership between Philip Emery and DJ Man Promotions and Nazareth Music Group, a division of PromisedLand Records.

“Heaven Came Down” is available for free download for the next two weeks on the PromisedLand Records website.

The new single is being pushed to Southern Gospel radio and Christian Country stations all across the nation, as well as mainstream Country radio. Philip Emery of DJ Man Promotions has put together a new marketing plan for direct radio promotions and sales. The new single will be marketed under a new joint venture between DJ Man Promotions and Nazareth Music Group Hot Tracks.

Sharie is the newest artist to join the Nazareth Music Group label and is from Bridgman, Michigan. She was named Miss Southwest Michigan in 1998 and has been traveling the church and inspirational market for several years before bringing her music to the Southern Gospel market.

In addition, Sharie has been named the 2005 Female Vocalist of the Year for the United States Association of Gospel Entertainers and Musicians (USAGEM). Sharie also received the USAGEM’s Ruby Award, given annually to an individual who has shown outstanding dedication to the organization. Sharie received her awards Friday, November 4, 2005 at the USAGEM’s annual convention and awards banquet in Nashville, Tennessee.

“It is such a high honor to me, personally, to serve the Lord,” says Sharie. “All I could say was that when I get to heaven, I will lay this award at his feet. So, I’ll just let my heart sing Him a song.”

Sharie will begin work on her debut Nazareth Music Group recording this year. She has released three recordings independently in the past, her current being Let’s Talk About Heaven.

“Sharie has an amazing ministry,” mentioned J.R. Richards of Nazareth Music Group. “She works with cancer patients – getting them fit for wigs and prosthetics. She touches many lives through this ministry.”
