SPRINGFIELD, Missouri – The Cerces, one of the Midwest’s most popular family groups, are putting the finishing touches on the vocals of their new project, Treasures - Old and New, this week. The new recording will contain 14 songs – seven classic Southern Gospel songs, as well as seven original songs.

The older songs include such classics as Mosie Lister's "While Ages Roll" and "Man on the Middle Cross," as well as new twists on old favorites like "The Old Landmark," “He's a Personal Savior," "Led Out of Bondage," and "No More," which was written in the 1960's by Duane Allen of the Oak Ridge Boys.

Also on this project, the Cerces are introducing to Southern Gospel music "One in the Lord" by Sam Mason and "Sheep and Goats" by Phil Enloe, both of which feature original Lari Goss orchestrations. Both of these songs are targeted for national radio release in 2006.

The project is scheduled for mixing and mastering next week with a street date of February 1, 2006.

The Cerces were recently the recipients of the 2005 Horizon Group of the Year award, presented by the Branson Gospel Singers Songwriters Association (BGSSA). The awards, which are determined by voting among Association members, were presented by the BGSSA at their annual awards ceremony on Sunday night, September 25, 2005 at the beautiful Chateau on the Lake resort in Branson, Missouri.

Be listening for the group’s current single, “O Happy Day,” on Southern Gospel radio across the country.

It's so humbling and exciting to see how the Lord is leading. To think after a vision of doing this at age 6 that now God is full filling what he told me 40 years ago is so awesome. God truly is the author of anything He decides to do through us. I'm thrilled to be a part of the Cerces, and honored to be with you all. Be encouraged. Keep up the GOOD fight of faith. God will guide us into all things. May God Bless You All. Blessed to Be a Kings Kid, Andy Fauth- Lead singer of the Cerces

Looking forward to your new recording. Sounds like some good music. We have known Andy for several years and have enjoyed his singing. He is a good addition to the Cerces. When I last talked to Andy he was excited about traveling with you. We hope 2006 brings God's blessings on you and that many ssouls will come to know Jesus through your ministry.

Congratulations Cliff, Anita, and Andy! Having heard a bit of "Sheep and Goats" in pre-production, I know that this CD is gonna be unique! And I mean that in a GOOD way. SG fans are gonna love this stuff!

Like Chris, I've been privileged to hear some of this project in pre-production...The Cerces have worked hard on this, and Cliff did a great job in selecting the material.

Hope this one gets you guys on radio where you belong!
