Mark Trammell Trio Finishes Production On Beside Still WatersAbout This Article

HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn.—The Mark Trammell Trio, one of Southern Gospel music’s most exciting upcoming trios, recently completed production on their brand new Daywind project Beside Still Waters. The release marks the first collection of all new recordings on the Daywind label and features top-notch selections from writers such as Dianne Wilkinson, Kevin Stokes, Rebecca J. Peck, Mike Speck, Albert Brumley and Bill Gaither among others. The first radio single, “The Love of Christ,” will be shipped to radio this week.
The Mark Trammell Trio consist of Mark Trammell, known for his days with Gold City, Greater Vision, the Kingsmen and the Cathedrals; Joseph Smith, who hails from his days with Perfect Heart and the Booth Brothers; and Eric Phillips, son of the legendary Kingsmen tenor Ernie Phillips.
The trio is currently nominated for Baritone of the Year (Trammell), Young Artist (Phillips), Horizon Individual (Phillips), Trio of the Year, and Song of the Year (“It’s Jesus”) at the 2004 Singing News Fan Awards. They will be performing Thursday night during the National Quartet Convention in Louisville, KY. Their new release, Beside Still Waters, is set to release June 22, 2004.
The Mark Trammell Trio is booked by the April Potter Agency. New Day Christian Distributors and Word Entertainment will distribute Beside Still Waters.
