Chris, My prayers are with you and the rest of Carrie's family. We know she is safe in the arms of Jesus, and we know that the Lord is sustaining you thru this time. I am thinking of songs that are a blessing, songs that I am certain you know. Our words seem inadequate, but I am thinking of Ricky Atkinson's "Jesus Can." He can do what we cannot. I'm also thinking of Tony Gore singing "I Don't Know How They Make It." How true it is! He makes all the difference in our lives! He did in Carrie's also, and now she is at peace and will never suffer again! God bless you, brother.

Chris, meeting you and Carrie was one of the joys Southern Gospel music has afforded. I could see the love for the Lord and especially her love for you, in her eyes. While we mourn her passing, we rejoice that she is no longer in pain but resting peacefully in the presence of God. We're still praying for you and the family. God bless.

We have been watching and praying these past months, as Carrie valiantly fought her physical battle. What has blessed me beyond words is not only your commitment to Carrie through all her struggle, but in your testimony of the sustaining power of Jesus Christ. Our prayers are with you, and we pray the Lord will continue to sustain and strengthen you in the weeks and mnths ahead. Thank you.

What a testimony to the grace of God you and Carrie have been, Chris. Every update on Carrie's health brought me to tears and took me to my knees for you guys.
May God pour out upon you His assurance of the promise of eternity with Him. Know that you are loved and upheld in prayer by your friends in the Gospel music community.

Chris, I just wanted you to know that although I never met you or Carrie in person, I feel like you are close friends. From all of your posts, I have no doubt about the special love you and Carrie shared. I can only imagine the turmoil inside you with the sadness of losing her here, and the rejoicing of knowing where she is now. My prayers are with you and your family. Always know that sharing your story with us on the list, certainly had an impact on my life, as I am sure it did others. I hope to meet you in person soon.
