Industry people, and a few knowledgeable fans have long suggested that we should record a tribute to the Statesmen. So, we finally decided to do just that. Our goal was to choose those forgotten gems that others had ignored. That became a daunting task for all of their songs were so well received. Many gospel singers admired them so very much, they simply had to sing their music.
