I would like to ask all the prayer warriors out there, to pray for my dear aunt.  Today she was told by her general doctor that he believes she has pancreatic cancer.  She has not had an appetite for some time and has been losing some weight, which prompted her to go to her doctor and have some tests done.  He is now sending her to a cancer specialist who plans to have some more imaging tests done.  My aunt has been a strong born-again Christian for as long as I can remember and has been quite the Christian role model.  I know beyond a shadow of a doubt in Whom her faith lies.  But this news today has shaken her quite a bit and she is already feeling some hopelessness that there is no cure for this pancreatic cancer.  Please pray for my aunt that the Lord will enfold and emcompass her in His loving arms, giving her comfort, peace, strength and a renewed hope!  That her confidence and trust will rise up and be placed in what the Lord can do and not what men say as the final word.  I know the Lord can see her through this.  Thank you so much in advance for your precious prayers on behalf of my aunt.  They are so much appreciated, more than you will ever know!

Many blessings!

Thank you, Rebeccabme1!  My aunt went to the UVA Hospital in Charlottesville, VA just recently to have more tests and a biopsy performed.  We have not heard all the particulars regarding these tests, but from what I understand they have given her some positive feedback that things might look somewhat better than originally thought.  Thank you for your continued prayers for my aunt.  They are truly appreciated and I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Lord is taking such great care of her and will continue to do so!

Many blessings to you!  smile
