I maybe behind the times but I have just listened to “The Prodigal Comes Home” which is the latest CD from Michael English.

Anyone else had the opportunity to listen to the songs on this project?  WOW! Talk about calling it like it is… When you listen to the words to every song, he is telling you everything he went through as a person and an artist.

Your thoughts?

I bought the Cd the day it came out. I think it’s awesome! I love Michael and this Cd proves he’s still got one of THE best voices in the music business! And you’re so right about the lyrics on every song. My favorite, I think is “The Only Thing Good In Me” but “The Prodigal” and “Time” and of course, “Feels Like Redemption” are also right up there on top of my list!

I bought it almost as soon as it came out.  I think it’s a totally awesome CD… I will go as far as to say it is my favorite CD, taken as a whole, he’s ever put out.  In Christ Alone will probably always be my single favorite song of his, but this new CD is amazing.

Just goes to show that God can use us beyond ourselves and He can take our brokenness and turn it into something good to be used for his glory!

Have not heard the CD but read his book by the same title. A very interesting read. I suggest any of you are fans of his music would benefit from reading the book also.

Both the CD & Book are awesome!!! I am going to see Michael in concert tonight with Avalon. I am sure it will be great! I will say, that his book was amazing. I am not a reader and I could not put it down! Michael’s story is a powerful story of Gods amazing grace! I am very proud of Michael. So, if you don’t have the book & CD… WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!!! LOL
