Hi,

I’m requesting prayer for our son and daugher-in-law.  They are the parents of our granddaughter who was killed in a car accident last fall.  I think my dil (daughter-in-law) is very depressed, but she’s only been to grief group once.  My son refuses to go to any grief group or counselling.  He has been shoving down his emotions since last October.  I think he’s just about to explode.  He came down tonight saying he couldn’t even talk to his wife - encourage her to get up and go do something - without her getting mad.  She was to have gone to Bible study this AM, but was home on the couch all day.  She also used to work full time but hasn’t been back full-time since her daughter’s death.  They are having a difficult time financially on 1 income.

They both need help, and he’s turning to us.  We have NO idea how to help him or her.  We’re contacting the pastor who officiated at our granddaughter’s funeral.  Hopefully he’ll be able to set up a contact with them. 

We need guidance as to how to guide them.

Sally, I will be praying for your son and daughter-in-law.  I can only imagine how difficult this is for them and for you to see them going through this.  I will pray for God to give some direction for you and for them that will lead them to His marvelous, wonderful healing and restoration!  May God bless you and your family!

Sally, I have been praying for you and your family since the death of your grandaughter last year, but will pray for Special intervention from God for your son and daughter-in-law, for restoration, mercy, grace, and comfort, yes even joy in the Lord, as only God can give in times of this great sadness in your family, God bless all of you is my prayer’s.

Sally, I was wondering just this week how your family is doing. I can only begin to imagine the pain you all have gone through, and are still going through. Tragedies like this can be used by satan to try to tear a family apart. But please know that there are many of us praying that what satan meant for evil, God will still use for good. I pray that all of you, including your son and dil, will feel God extra close, wrapping you in His loving arms.
