I don’t want to appear selfish in this prayer request as I know that the present state of the economy is putting a pinch on everyone. God owns a small Christian bookstore in a small community where He has placed me as manager.  I say that it is God’s because I believe that all things belong to Him.  I have been told by many of my customers that they are so thankful that I am here and that they are praying for me.  I am the only bookstore in the county and many don’t have the ability to travel the average of 40-45 minutes to get to the next closest store. 

I truly feel that God has placed me here for a reason and to be a light to the community and I know that He’ll will take care of His children.  It is hard, though, to put my human side out of the way and not worry about the finances of the store. It is getting harder each day with sales declining all the time.

I would like to ask those that will to pray for my little store and others like me that are struggling to make ends meet and keep the doors open.  I do feel that this is the area of ministry that He has called me to and I feel that I am letting Him down if I’m not able to keep it going.  Please pray for me, as well, that I will have the courage and strength to continue on this particular path for Him and give Him the honor He so truly deserves.
