Had a chance to sample the tunes from the new GVB album coming out in April.  WOW!  Good mix of songs.  Good vocals (as always) and some great lyrics.  Looking forward to this one.

I enjoyed the sample, too.  Have my copy pre-ordered.  Should be a good one.

Mine is pre-ordered, too, but I’ve gotta say I was a little surprised at how many old songs they have on the new CD.  I kind of felt like they had reused so many on Give It Away that they would not have had so many repeats on this album.  Does anyone else feel that way?

I listened to it, and was impressed. altough they could have left off the song “Then He Bowed His Head” - never liked that one. I like it when they include a couple of older songs, but this is the third time they recorded “Build An Ark”. They need to pull out some more old Gaither Trio songs, even do a whole CD of them. Some of their best songs have been Gaither Trio songs they re-did: Worthy the Lamb, I Believe In a Hill Called Mount Calvary, It Is Finished.

Hi.  I am just new here and saw a GVB topic.  I was wondering if anyone here had a copy of One X 1 on Cd that they would be willing to burn for me.  When I was growing up that album along with Passin’ the Faith Along, New Point of View, and Wings really meant a lot to me and I have yet to find that CD anywhere.  Any help would be appreciated.

However, we do not share files here as that is illegal.  You might try searching on ebay or contacting to see if anyone has one for sale.  Harold specializes in older music so he may be able to help you find what you are looking for.
