What is your most favorite Valentine gift that you ever received?

Mine:  Years ago I was on Weight Watchers.  Valentine Day came and my hubby presented me with a very large red Valentine chocolates box (heart shaped) I thought oh no - what sabatog!!  But I opened it and it was full of packets of Hidden Valley Ranch dressing mix (I was eating tons of that with carrots).  I was SO touched that he really was paying attention and was helpin me out! 

What a sweet hubby you have! 

The best gift I ever got was from my late hubby who sent me red roses one Valentine’s.  That was great!

Oh, I have had so many favorite Valentine gifts, but this year my husband sent me 12 yellow long-stem roses with baby’s breath for my Birthday/Valentine combination (my birthday being so close to Valentine, February 12th!) I love yellow roses!  They are absolutely beautiful and bright and spread such cheer in my office each day! 

My favorite valentine gift was given to the world, not just me, on February 14,1953. That’s the day my wife was born!
Yes, she’s a sweetheart! It took me until 1989 to realize she was MY sweetheart, for it took me until April 14th of that year to marry her!
She is the sweetest person I have ever known, and she is a sweetheart in her office at IDES (International Disaster Emergency Service--www.ides.org), a sweetheart at our church, and a sweetheart to everyone she meets.

My sweetheart sent me 18 long stem roses with a box of Godiva chocolates yesterday.  It’s a combination of different color roses.  They are so gorgeous!!  The best part of my gift is that he is coming to see me on Sunday (we live 500 miles apart & I haven’t seen him in 7 weeks).  He plans to take me shopping for a new outfit on Monday then cook for me....a candlelight dinner at my house....on Monday night.  So I’m very happy with my Valentine’s gift this year.  I feel so special and loved!

My favorite Valentine Gift was from my sweet husband about 12 years ago. Most of you know I’m a self proclaimed “Quartet Idiot”! Well, he hired a Barbershop Quartet to come to the School where I was teaching first grade to serenade me in front of the entire faculty! They sang “I’ll be Loving You Always” along with about three other love songs a capella with marvelous four part harmony! It was magnificent!
