Good ideas BariLead!  Sounds reasonable and workable!  But no drama.

Interesting night last night.  Like Neil Diamond songs!  I’m thinking that “dreadlocked” Jason will be in trouble this week.  He just sounded the same as he always does.  Judges were also underwhelmed.

I like David Cook, but I’m not as impressed as the judges!  Randy says, “blazing”! ?????

Brooke’s 2d song was better than first, but she’ll go soon.

David A. - he’s good, but again, IMHO not as good as the judges seem to think!

Syesha - as much as I didn’t care for her in the beginning, I’m starting to like her now.  She’s sort of coming into her own!

Well, IMHO the “cuteness” factor rescued Jason (dreadlocks) once again.  Wasn’t all that impressed with his singing. 
Buh bye to Brook White.  I would guess that overall her starting/stopping in a couple of shows in the end did her in.  I liked her singing, but I knew she wouldn’t make it to the end.

Now I am pulling for Syesha!  Strange turn-around for me!!!

Did anyone catch Neil Diamond’s song?  “Pretty Amazing Grace”.  The words could very easily have been construed as Gospel!!!  But the song never once mentioned God or Jesus, yet the lyrics spoke of redeeming, freeing love.  Could have gone either way.  It DID make me wonder if he knew what he was talking about or if he was “mocking”.  (mocking isn’t a good word choice for what I meant, but you get the drift!  [I hope] )  LOL

I haven’t been able to watch much this season but from what I have seen I agree with you Sally!

Well, Jolene , I just don’t know.  At first I didn’t like him, but lately he’s been showing more talent than just being a rocker, and I like her better.  I think the little “chickies” like him too.  Hopefully the “cuteness factor” won’t keep Jason in there too much longer!

Well, I think that Jason really cooked his own goose last night!  His songs were just ho-hum and then, to top that off, he forgot the words!!!!  Simon said, “pack your suitcase”.  Of course, the voting public being what it is, that statement could have the reverse effect and get folks to vote in droves for Jason.

I like David A, but am growing weary of his fakey giggle and his squint eyes.  True, he has an AWESOME voice, but I don’t think he’s ready yet to be a “star” - the American Idol.  His “aw shucks” demeanor just doesn’t cut it.

I’m more and more liking David Cook and Syesha.  I voted ad nauseum last night for both of them and not at all for the other 2.
Time will tell

Jolene - if my final 2 prediction is correct with the 2 Davids, I’d prefer David COOK to be the “Idol”.  David A has a marvellous talent, but maturity wise, he’s not right for the job.  Of course the “cute little things” out there who are voting for the cute young guy won’t care a whit!

My predictions were correct - it is the 2 Davids in the finals next week.

For David A’s sake I hope he doesn’t win.  His Daddy Dearest (stage father from Hades) will make life miserable for him and those around him.

Well, a great show last night!  David A. was really ‘ON’.  He will probably win.  Unfortunately he doesn’t SEEM to have the maturity or “father-figure” to handle it well.

I did spend the hour following the show voting for David C - whenever I could get thru.
