Yeah - “Let My People Go” - he was hilarious!!! He lost all diction when he sang!! And his tongue - it “cleaved to the roof of his mouth!” I did hear a couple I thought were good, but sometimes I think they don’t put on the ones who are REALLY good til one gets down to the, what is it 20 that come out of Hollywood.
I also wonder if some of those folks are really as clueless as they seem when they just do not understand why they were refused! And then there are those who obviously KNOW how bad they are and are just aiming for the 15 minutes of fame - witness the guy who went out and had his chubby chest waxed cause Paula told him too much chest hair. But seriously about him - wonder why he hated himself so much to actually go on nation-wide TV half naked with all his rolls of “adipose tissue” hanging out and his “plumber’s costume” showing MUCH, MUCH MORE than we ever wanted to see.

Well, nothin too terribly crazy last night. Interesting seeing the audition clips from Kelly Clarkson. I didn’t start watching AI til after Reuben won, so missed that entirely.
Thought there were some fairly good singers last night. One gal, and I surely can’t remember her name, Simon really liked and told her she was the best singer so far! Of course she appeared tall, slim, blonde, beautiful ,PLUS talent.
Last night overall was pretty good. Not too many weirdo’s, and not enough good ones. The farming boy from Saltillo, MS is not very far from me (about 40 miles) so it was fun seeing a local person. Not sure how far he we go though. Almost too country. I wish they would have a full week of nothing but auditions, then get on with the hollywood stuff. I can’t wait until next week!
