I have around 1000 LP’s maybe 100 or so 45’s and around 50 78’s most of the classic quartets of the 50’s and 60’s and a few are country and old rock.
These are the only things that I consider collectable
I also have a bunch of tapes and CD’s that would number in the hundreds somewhere. I invested in the wrong kind of CD’s I think.

I have 896 CDs plus 80 Christmas CDs. A few of these are cassettes but I’m not sure how many. All are SG or Country Gospel with a few Christmas exceptions.

my LP collection is small (but growing) as far as collectors go. but i’m right at 600 LP’s and i’m guessing right at 250 CD’s not a big fan of the way CD’s sound the’re much better now but still are not as “warm” as fine quality vinyl LP.
On LP i have all of the Blackwood Brothers, Statesmen, Kingsmen, Cathedrals, Couriers Qt.(i’m still working on the trio years)  the Stamps, Happy Goodmans, Hinsons. i’m now collecting the Speer Family, Dixie Echoe’s, Florida Boys, Dixie Melody Boys, and a few odd’s and ends (now saying that i have “all” is not true in some cases because of the number of reissue LP’s, some of the older LP’s were reissued 4 and 5 times on various lables)

I’ve had hundreds of Albums, cassettes and CD’s for as long as I can remember. Ever so often I turn loose of them and give them to others. In recent years I’ve donated a box full to a local children’s home for Christmas, I gave a bunch of them away as gifts to my church family. If I had a song and someone wanted to hear it or learn it I would share. I gave the last box to a local children’s hospital. I still have more than I listen to. I have slacked up on purchasing so many CD’s. Although I would love to get some of the more recent songs. I still enjoy listening to the older songs. My collection usually grows when I attend mega singing’s like the Gaither’s or Gatlinburg Gathering, etc.
