The Capstone Quartet, a regional group located near Tuscaloosa, AL since 1992, is considering adding a sound man. For 16 years, the sound has been run from the stage. This has worked fine; however, we would highly consider bringing in someone we could have FULL confidence in running our sound efficiently from the front of house. We feel that this would provide us the liberty of focusing on one thing only - ministering. Anyone who is interested must first and foremost be saved. He should also be ministry minded, meaning not looking to get in it for the money. If money is what you seek, first of all you’re in the wrong genre and secondly, you should contact another group. I say that only to be completely honest about it up front. We are 4 singers and a piano player who sacrifice our time and energy to travel and sing for the Lord not for personal gain, but because God has placed a desire in our hearts to do so, and that’s how the sound man would need to feel about it, also. All road expenses are covered by the group. We perform anywhere from 80 to 110+ dates per year and travel as far as NY, VA, TX, AR, FL, etc.

If you’re still interested, here are a few other requirements this person would need to meet:

- Reside within comfortable driving distance to GORDO, AL
- Hear all four parts and have a good understanding of how a gospel quartet should blend
- Must be clean cut, well-dressed.
- Must be prepared to travel most Saturday nights, Sunday mornings and Sunday nights 48 weekends throughout the year (we reserve Thanksgiving weekend, Easter Sunday and the last 2-3 weeks of December for family time.)
- If you can play an instrument or sing a part well, this would be an added bonus and your talents would likely be put to use from time to time, or possibly even to fill an unforeseen vacancy.

If you feel you meet these requirements and would be interested in meeting with us, send an email detailing your sound experience along with a photo to (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
