Republicans and conservatives often speak of “traditional family values,” and how they espouse these values. The often makefamily values the centerpiece of their campaign.

And family values are important. I believe the family is the fundamental unit this great nation is founded on.

McCain was still married and living with his wife in 1979 while aggressively courting a 25-year-old woman who was rich, manipulative, and poweful. McCain divorced his wife, who had raised their three children then launched his political career with his new wife’s family money.

Obama on the other hand has a loving wife who still spends most of her week looking after the couple’s daughters Malia, 8, and Sasha, 5, at their Chicago home. She is a loving wife who combines the poise of Jackie Kennedy with the brain of Hillary Clinton and the uncomplicated charm of Laura Bush.

It’s one thing to pontificate about family values and use such verbage as “upholding the sanctity of marriage”...it’s quite another to actually live those values.

Obama personifies those values, while McCain mocks them.

On the issue of McCain, sure he has skeletons in his closet.  We all do.  But Obama has problems of his own.  Michelle having “poise of Jackie Kennedy”.  Give me a break.  At least Jackie Kennedy was proud of her country.  Obama does have a family, but his voting record does not personify those values.  So in the long run, if he is not standing for them, then who is the one “mocking” them?  My friend, your gonna have to do better than this.

So anyone who has been through a divorce is mocking family values?????

After thinking about this, I believe you are right. Obama DOES personify such family values as abortion all the way up to the 9th month. He personifies that traditional family value of the gay lifestyle. He personifies that family value welfare to 4 and 5 generations deep. Don’t forget the family value of welfare that says that the father cannot live in the house if they want assistance.

You are right, with Obama’s family values personification, I just may have to change my mind and vote for him.
