This may sound like a stupid prayer request but really I believe there is no stupid prayer request.  We went and looked at a house yesterday that we REALLY love.  We are leasing our house right now and our lease is up and we would really like to move.  We are expecting our first baby and we want to move back into a subdivision or a more family friendly neighborhood.  The house is perfect.  We’ve always wanted a pool and the house has a pool.  I’ve never wanted a house this bad.  The people are relocating and really want to sell the house, instead of leasing it.  We don’t have enouch credit to purchase the house, that’s why we prefer to lease.  They have two other couples coming to look at the house that are looking to purchase a house.  They said they would let us know something after these other two couples come look at the house.  If they don’t buy it, they said they will entertain our offer and lease the house.  Please say a prayer that God would somehow work it out that we get this house.  I know he can do all things.  Thanks in advance for the prayers.  I’ll keep you guys posted.

I will pray, but..... let’s change it from “that God will give us this house” to “ God’s plan will be shown to us”.....

Trust me. I have asked God to do my will many times, and sometimes he gave me what I asked for, but it was not what was best. If you don’t get this house, it is because HE has “a better idea” for your family.

Matthew 6:33 says, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you”

That is the better thing; what HE has waiting for you. Waiting on him is never too long of a wait; it is ALWAYS worth it!

I, too, will pray that God’s will be done in this situation.

I will pray that God’s will for this request too, and it’s not a stupid prayer request either, God always hears our prayers, and He answers them to, however as the other poster said, we must present our petitions to our God according to His Word to.. and always as His will be done in all things....PTL

Of course I want it to be God’s will.  I guess I just want this so badly, I get wrapped up in my own feelings and forget to pray that God’s will be done.  Thanks for all your prayers.  Please continue to pray, we haven’t heard anything yet but hopefully we will know something this weekend.
