Just wondering if anyone has a good recommendation for demos? Not just “cheap” but a good sounding and professional demo. I have had several cuts by sg artiist and have a song on the singing news chart now. But i Pastor a small churh in Alabama and income becomes a issue. But the cuts i’ve got has come from 400.00 demos. i’ve had 7 songs done by semi national groups in the last year. And i give God all the glory. I have more songs now to have demo’ed but havn’t the money. I tried the demo’s with me singing plain jane but NO CUT"S until i had some very (NASHVILLE STYLE) demo’s made. Within days my email was ringing. So my question is can anyone suggest a GOOD PROFESSIONAL demo made at a more reasonable price than the above price i mentioned? Or am i gonna have to “put out” to get cuts until maybe i gain some friendship or recognition with some groups. I am a young songwriter of two years. I write continuly . I have a quitar in my hand or a paino at my fingertips everyday except Sunday. IT IS MY PASSION AND BURDEN TO WRITE TO UPLIFT THE SAINT AND BRING HOPE TO EVERY SINNER THAT THER IS HOPE AT THE BOTTOM!! Besides my ministry it has been the most AWESOME thing to write songs and hear them on national radio, XM radio Enlighten 34, ( I’ve had three songs playing on XM in the last 6 months) To give an example the song on the charts now i wrote when i Pastored a small church in KY ( a year ago) living in Sunday School rooms just to survive to help that little church overcome some past problems before i got there. I spent five weeks writing one song. Every moment i was singing that song in my mind until it was finished. ( I’m sure you songwriter’s understand that language) I have no friends that write so when i write i pretty much stay to myself and my close friends don’t understand that ethier. AND now to hear that song on XM RADIO and local stations and doing interviews about the song is beyond words REWARDING.!!
