Shepherd of the Hills Church in Porter Ranch (Los Angeles), CA has an annual Passion Play that has proven to be a great labor for the Lord in past years.  Just last year the church saw over 3,000 souls saved during the production.  Tragically, this year’s production has been shut down!  At approxiamately 3 PM PST today, the local Fire Marshal interrupted the cast practicing just before opening night, tonight!  He ordered all actors to tear down the set immediately and demanded office workers to help.  Cast members, employees, and other church members are in tears as they disassemble the set.

I am in disbelief that this is actually happening!  Please take a moment and lift up our cries to Heaven.  I can’t help but think of Mike and Kelly Bowling’s song, “Your Cries Have Awoken the Master”.  If I’ve ever needed the Master to hear me, I need Him to hear me now!  Another 3,000 souls could be at stake…

What was the reasoning for the shutdown?  Were there extremely flammable materials in the set or something????

THEY probably didn’t give a reason for doing ‘the shutdown’ they don’t have to say why, it’s just done…

I did a bit of a google search and even went to the church’s website - no mention anywhere of the closing.?????
