I began singing at a very young age with my father, who was a minister of music in a Baptist Church in Dublin. I sung with my father and his local group during my teenage years. I began singing with a local Southern gospel Group, The Soul Seekers, in my mid twenties. The Soul Seekers are a group that is supported by the Dublin Church of God. I joined the Dublin Church of God once I became a member of The Soul Seekers. The group and I have sung all over the Southeastern States and have recorded a few tapes in Nashville. While with the Soul Seekers I played the piano (by ear) and sung tenor. I am capable of singing lead, baritone or tenor. I have experience driving Greyhound buses and I also have a commercial driver’s license. I was with The Soul Seekers for 7 years. Once I left The Soul Seekers I took a position of pianist at Dublin Church of God for one year.
I am looking to join a Southern Gospel tro or quartet. I want to use the talent that God has given me by singing in a group, to minister to people through song. With the help of God and the support of my wife I am going out when I can to different churches singing and playing the piano. I know that God has plans for my musical talent and me. I will go where the Lord leads me.
