Excellent idea for local and regional groups.  I applaud you for starting this thread.

Thanks to all who have replied and e-mailed me so far. a question asked by one was how much do i receive as promoter i only set these singings up and we do not receive anything for this. we use this to support our local groups and hope that it can help you get other bookings from this. the singing convention will soon be in its 60th year.  again thank you.

Would this be open to groups that aren’t local if they were interested?  I don’t know if we are, I’m just gathering information.

We would love to get some bookings in the Dickson Area. We are in Fayetteville, TN and Winchester TN areas. We have a mixed group and love to sing for the Lord. We are currently taking bookings for the remainder of 2008 and 2009. The Lord has really blessed us with a dedicated group of folks that love the Lord. We just finished our new CD and are needing a few bookings to fill in with the ones that we have.
We do only Old Time Southern Gospel and Accapella Hymns. We don’t do any P&W;. Nothing Wrong with it , we just don’t do it.
