So Obama is in my hometown area of Virginia today. I was reading the local paper online. (I now live in Nashville) I am amazed at how every article I seem to read about him has no meat to it. Like “A crowd of more than 200 sat under a canopy of pine trees to listen to Obama speak about the differences between he and Arizona Sen. John McCain, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee.” Wouldn’t this actually be news if the paper had told us what he said? Next news flash: Obama walks up stairs, buys coffee. What I seem to be finding is no one really knows what Obama stands for or what he is about. (Well, some of us know) I know, I know, he is about Change. But what change?
See most people have no idea where he stands or what he really believes. I heard it explained like this, and I agree. Obama is like the big new rock band. (Or Pop band) His concert is filled with music, lights, fireworks, etc… People are rocking to the beat, clapping there hands and dancing. They had a great time. Even got a T-Shirt. But when they get home they can’t tell me one word that was sang? Because the focus is not the words! Sounds like an Obama rally to me…
