Prayer request for dental work

Hi folks. About 3 weeks ago I had dental implants placed in my lower jaw. They were doing “ok”. The entire procedure turned out to be more “uncomfortable” - achy - than I’d ever anticipated. Now I’ve got some sort of a knot on the back of my gum. I was at my regular dentist this afternoon, and he advised me to call the oral surgeon. I have an appt with him Thursday morning. Would appreciate prayers for healing and pain relief.

This may sound like a stupid prayer request but really I believe there is no stupid prayer request. We went and looked at a house yesterday that we REALLY love. We are leasing our house right now and our lease is up and we would really like to move. We are expecting our first baby and we want to move back into a subdivision or a more family friendly neighborhood. The house is perfect. We’ve always wanted a pool and the house has a pool. I’ve never wanted a house this bad. The people are relocating and really want to sell the house, instead of leasing it. We don’t have enouch credit to purchase the house, that’s why we prefer to lease. They have two other couples coming to look at the house that are looking to purchase a house. They said they would let us know something after these other two couples come look at the house. If they don’t buy it, they said they will entertain our offer and lease the house. Please say a prayer that God would somehow work it out that we get this house. I know he can do all things. Thanks in advance for the prayers. I’ll keep you guys posted.

Praise Report - The Goodness of God!

I am just so excited and bubbling over at the goodness of the Lord this morning and had to share with my friends here at SGN! God’s goodness and timing is so impeccable!

To start, my daughter has been writing a persuasive paper regarding the Terri Schiavo case for her English class. Just this morning a friend of mine emailed me to let me know that the Attorney for the Terri Schiavo case, David Gibbs, will be speaking at her church this coming Sunday evening in case we wanted to attend! All I can say is “WOW!” God certainly moves in marvelous and mysterious ways! When my friend emailed me this morning, she had no knowledge of my daughter writing this paper. Now my daughter will get to hear first hand this Attorney speak, before finishing her paper and giving her persuasive argument in class. I am just awestruck at the hand of God! I have been so blessed to see Him move and working in mighty ways for us and around us!

We are truly a blessed people of the Lord, folks! This might seem like a small thing to some, but it is HUGH to us! God is concerned with everything that concerns or involves us no matter how great or small, to show His love and greatness! Just remember that friends and keep the faith! What a loving and awesome God we love and serve!

As always I am so amazed in His presence and humbled by His love!

Special Prayer Request

Hi Friends,

I would like to ask you to join me in prayer for a co-worker of mine, Crystal, who was just recently diagnosed with breast cancer and also noted a spot on her lung. She is a young single mother with 2 small children. The doctors do not hold out much hope, but we serve a Mighty God and know that He has the FINAL Word and Authority over all! Crystal is very positive and in high spirits believing and trusting the Lord to take care of her and to see her through.

I wish to thank you in advance for your prayers on her behalf. They are so deeply and truly appreciated!

Son and Daughter-in-law need prayer

Hi,

I’m requesting prayer for our son and daugher-in-law. They are the parents of our granddaughter who was killed in a car accident last fall. I think my dil (daughter-in-law) is very depressed, but she’s only been to grief group once. My son refuses to go to any grief group or counselling. He has been shoving down his emotions since last October. I think he’s just about to explode. He came down tonight saying he couldn’t even talk to his wife - encourage her to get up and go do something - without her getting mad. She was to have gone to Bible study this AM, but was home on the couch all day. She also used to work full time but hasn’t been back full-time since her daughter’s death. They are having a difficult time financially on 1 income.

They both need help, and he’s turning to us. We have NO idea how to help him or her. We’re contacting the pastor who officiated at our granddaughter’s funeral. Hopefully he’ll be able to set up a contact with them.

We need guidance as to how to guide them.

Urgent prayer request

Hey, guys, my nephew was in a terrible traffic accident yesterday morning. The van he was traveling in flipped several times. He’s now in the hospital with a broken neck, two crushed vertibrate, three cracked ribs and both lungs bruised. The Doctors have told him and his wife that if he moves wrong, or if they move him wrong, he could be paralized from his neck down for the rest of his life. They are operating early in the morning.
Please pray for God’s favor and for God to guide the hands of those taking care of him.

Hi y’all. Jolene #2 called me this afternoon. she’s doing fine and is very thankful that she didn’t have to have the heart stress test the other week. She says she’s improving every day and she is under the care of Dr. Jesus! (best doc EVER!)

Jolene right now is between phone services. She called me on her son’s cell phone. She’s soon going to have ATT with dsl PLUS regular and cell service. She sends her best to all her friends and wishes that everyone would drop her a note in her PM box. Sometime this week she should be back on-line!

Prayer for my Paw-Paw

Please pray for my Paw-Paw. He has to go tomorrow to have a heart cath done. They said once they get in there, if he has to have a stint or if he needed open heart surgery they would go ahead and do it while they were in there. It really worries me. He’s in his late 60’s I think. He’s never had heart problems but his parents both died with heart problems. I don’t know what my Maw-Maw would do if something happened to him. She has really bad nerves. Please just say a prayer for him that everything will turn out ok and that he will get through all this just fine. Keep my Maw-Maw in your prayers as well. Thanks for the prayers in advance. I’ll keep you posted!

Prayers Please for My Mother

My mother is 75 years old and has some health issues, not the least of which are a form of lupus as well as tremors which caused the doctors to test her for Parkinsons. They said they couldn’t say for SURE that she has it but they couldn’t rule it out either. Anyway, lately she’s been having an incredible amount of pain in her hips, lower back and legs. To the point where there are times the only way she can get comfortable is to lie down. She went to the doctor the other day and he took x-rays, didn’t like what he was seeing and actually called her insurance company for permission to run another test that same day. He showed her the test results and there appears to be something putting pressure on her spine, but they can’t tell what it is. She is going for an MRI this afternoon. I’d appreciate prayers for her, as well as my 80 year-old father who won’t admit that he’s quite concerned as well.
