Would someone be so kind to tell me the website, call letters to a radio station from Arkansas that broadcasts southern gospel music. I listened to it several years ago and really enjoyed it, but just haven’t did so for lack of time lately and I would like to look it up again. I thank you in advance!

Gas prices affecting things

Hello, recently I attended a Dixie Melody Boys concert, it was awesome! During one of the times that Ed O’Neill spoke, he said they had got rid of their bus and were now driving this big Dodge van (which they had with them that night). Said that he knows God wants us to be good stewards of our money and he felt that continuing driving that bus (which we know all buses and motorhomes are gas hogs), was not being a good steward, so therefore he got the van and it gets much better gas mileage. Don’t imagine the accomodations are quite as roomy, but..... At any rate, do you think other groups will be considering this as well due to the high gas prices?

Also, do you think gas prices will keep people from attending concerts as much?
I have mixed emotions. I do see where it can be a problem if you drive a distance, but then again.... last month I went to a weekend gospel sing in a different state from where I reside, and it was a sold out event for the first time, many people from many states!

Kentucky Derby

Are there any horse racing fans out there? My mother’n’law watches them and while visiting use we watched the Kentucky Derby this past weekend. I have to say that it was interesting. Congratulations to Big Brown. I really didn’t understand all of the situation with Eight Belles and the trainer, jockey, etc. I read where the horse broke two ankles and finished second?????? Wow. I there are any horse racing gurus out there please help me understand all of this. Thanks!

tenor position for The Melody Boys Quartet has been very
capably filled with the man and the voice of Tim Williams.
Tim is the former tenor and co-owner of The Golden State
Quartet of the west coast area. Tim also served as President
of The Western States Gospel Music Association for two full
terms.

Prayer request for dental work

Hi folks. About 3 weeks ago I had dental implants placed in my lower jaw. They were doing “ok”. The entire procedure turned out to be more “uncomfortable” - achy - than I’d ever anticipated. Now I’ve got some sort of a knot on the back of my gum. I was at my regular dentist this afternoon, and he advised me to call the oral surgeon. I have an appt with him Thursday morning. Would appreciate prayers for healing and pain relief.
