Hi gang!

I don’t hit the massage boards too often, but when I started looking through the favorites section, I was surprised to see no postings asking for favorite artists. I guess I could have missed an older post, but since I didn’t see one, I’ll start one.

Okay the rules are simple…name your 3 all time favorite southern gospel artists, could be quartets, mixed groups, trios, soloists, however you want it, but you get only 3…no ties, no extras. That way you will give a definitive list. If there is a certain lineup that ranks among your 3 favorites (for example, Gold City 1986-1991), just add your era to the end of the artist’s name.

This is just for fun now, so put your thinking caps on, and let’s see where the ride takes us.

Since I started this, I’ll list mine first-in order they are…

     1. The Happy Goodman Family
     2. The Imperials
     3. The Hinsons

I hope we get a lot of people to join the discussion-since there are so many artists, and so many different tastes in southern gospel, it will be interesting to see what you guys and gals are all thinking.
