Thank you for your kind words. Only the Lord would know what the future is for me and my family. I am enjoying the work I am doing now, and with the commitments I have made to the campaign I am working with, I plan to be here through the duration. However, just to let you know, my brother Mark is hosting his annual Homecoming singing next year in Berea, KY and the Bishops are schedule to appear then. I am looking forward to it.

Well, I was the promoter of that concert and I must not have promoted the concert very well. There was probably less than a hundred people in a 1000 seat auditorium. Kathy had called and asked if they could come and sing on our concert because they had had a cancellation. I had never heard of The Crabb family but I said OK. I'm glad something good came out of it. God Bless you and Kelly!

these " young men " are truly unique.
Amoung the three, there is a fireman, a farmer, a high school band director and football coach. the oldest is 51 and the youngest 34. All their appearances are request only, with a few c/d sales for income. they are working on original material for the spring recording, 03'.
check them out, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Very well spoken! We would do well to remember this in our churches too. Yes, those who claim to be ministers (in song or in the pulpit) should be held to a higher standard. But the fact remains that we are all human and satan is out to get everyone who gives their heart to Jesus. Thank you, Paul, for a "word fitly spoken..."

Southern Gospel Music the very BEST
Commented by Bobbie Key On 11/20/2002
This not only applies to Southern Gospel Music but to every christian.
Think of how people ("Christians") slandered Bill Clinton. Yes what he did was wrong but was his sin any different than our own. There is no classifacation of sin in God's eyes. Other politicians deal with alcoholism, deceit, theft, cheating funds with their big companies and the list goes on and on. But christians look over many things that they choose to. Our society as a whole has this condeming attitude these days instead of a forgiving one. Everyone wants "The Scoop" . Well wait till the scoop is on YOU!!!!!

Wow, something I can TOTALLY agree with. This needs to be the motto of every Christian and especially every southern gospel fan.

Thank you for saying it. I wish you could say it on every page of every SG publication in America at least once a month. Rubbish is right - people don't need to know the gory details of what happens in groups - and to hide behind the prayer excuse is ridiculous. If a fan somehow finds out, then they need to keep it to themselves instead of dropping hints on message boards like this one - or outright saying it on other message boards.

Not that I'm anybody extraordinary, but I wouldn't be where I am today had it not been for Robbie Maxwell. I'm just one of a number of individuals she and Dale have helped aspire to greater heights in the Southern Gospel music industry. Thanks Robbie.
Dale is my mentor as a musician - the boy can play anything he puts his hands on. And you should hear him sing "Rank Stranger." Be sure and request it at their next concert.
David is pretty much worthless, but I love him anyway! (just kidding D).
I'm blessed to know these wonderful Southern Gospel artists, but I'm most blessed to call them friends. You guys are awesome.
Sing-cerely,
Eddie

Our loss is Paula's gain , and that is how it should be...
You were my favorite Kingsmen/Carolina guy, as I've talked several times to you...God works in many ways...
Remember "You're Never Alone"
I'll miss you, but I have videos, CD'S and the Sky Angel, so I'll always be able to see and hear you in my home...
God Bless ...
God Bless you both, I know what you've been through as I've been throught it many years ago... My heart and prayers go out to both of you...
Parker I've seen you holding babies, and I know you'll make a great daddy.

Thank you Parker for reminding all of us that God's priorities matter. I know that the Lord will continue to use you in a mighty way as you remain open to His leading. I thank God for the blessing you have been to me and to so many others through the music He has given us through you. And I pray that you and your wife will find comfort in knowing you are living in His wonderful will. I am confidant that "whatever you do," you will "work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men." Col. 3:23

We remember Mike Bowling from years ago when he sang with his family, Family Tradition. What a time we had. Mike is still a blessing. We enjoy hearing him sing with The Crabb Family every chance we get.

I heard the group "HisSong" at GMT in Pigeon Forge, Tn. this past Friday Night and they received a standing ovation. Their performance was outstanding as it always is. They are great and their new release "Finally Home" should be played on every radio station in the country. All christians should hear this message and be reminded that we all are striving to reach the same destination.

I personally think that Mike Bowling is a terrific singer and also a friendly person. I had the chance to see the Crabb Family and Mike Bowling 3 times this year. I love the song The Preacher.

I think Mike Bowling is an awesome singer and a true example of what a Christian person should be. I have known Mike for many years and his personality has always been the same, no matter where you see him. I think a lot of people who claim to be a Christian could follow Mike's example.

Mike Bowling is one of the greatest singers to come along in years to Gospel Music. It was an honor having him sing with our group. It also doesn't hurt that him and Tracy are cuzins'.
