There was no doubt that hissong would make the pick hit. These guys has the best harmony I have ever heard in my life but most of all they have the anointing. These guys are on there way to the very top.

I have seen and heard this young man several times here in Michigan...when he sang with Royalty. Close your eyes and listen...and you will hear the next Tony Gore. I could not believe that a young man Jason's age would have that kind of powerful voice. He was born to sing Southern Gospel Music. He sings from the depths of his heart and soul. I am very impressed by his attitude, as well. Was sad to hear that Royalty had disbanded and immediately prayed that Jason would somehow continue. He did. My prayers continue for Jason.

Shane,

I'm concerned so many people in Gospel Music seem to be somewhat unstable in groups. While I realize your tenure has been years with 'NHarmony, many more groups are even more unstable.

Tony Gore recently went solo. While I think Tony is a great singer, I can't have the same affinity with him while he's singing "with tracks" instead of with Jason Runnels and the others he was singing with as a trio.

I'm concerned that people are going to get the feeling that the Southern Gospel industry is about people or perhaps about the money rather than Christ being the focal point.

I have no business trying to say anything about another's prayer and communication with God. I pray you're following God's will.

I have begun to pull back from concerts because of the movement of people all over the place from group to group.

I had the oppurtunity to attend the 1st annual James Blackwood memorial sing in Memphis on 9-13-02 and I must say it was absolutely awesome.It was vintage southern gospel music at it's best. Every act on the program did a superb job.The people who came up with the idea and put the show together deserve a big thank you.I hope there are many more of these to come.It was a blessing and if you missed it you definitely missed a beautiful time.

Praise be to The Lord and Brother Charlie Waller that the Grand Ole Gospel Reunion will continue. I was there two years ago, and it was a very precious memory. Hope to get there again.

Congradulations Adam & Kristi, shes beautiful of course, but I was just wandering if anyone is going to have a boy? Maybe Jasons wife will. Me myself I would rather have girls anyday, I love my son just as much as my daughter but he sure gives me a hard time alot. I have been of the pentecostal faith since I was about 3 or 4 my grandparents started taking us to Sunday School with them, Just to tell you a little of what God can do, my mother had cancer almost 3 years ago, on Jan. 9th 1999, she died 3 times on the operating table the dr told us we had to let her go, so we all bound together in the waiting room even the family that doesn't go to church, we called the church that night & told them to pray to, And when we did, we prayed for about 10minutes, the dr. came out & said she was going to recovery & we could all see her then, I Praise him everyday for keeping her here now cancer free, then the other day the dr told me that my son had a tumor on his brain & we went for the test & I stood on alot of faith, they found NOTHING, Thank you Jesus!!!!! I try to go to as many concerts of your i can, I always go to Tuskahoma, OK this year was the best ever, thank you for power i feel in all of your songs!!!!!!!I'm sorry if i talked too long, I just get excited when I've seen what God can do. My Pastor Is My Uncle Sterlin Taylor is his name i think you know him & his son Daniel Taylor, God Bless You All & Keep up the Great work for God!!!!!! Heather Helton

I am a sister-in-law (and best buddy) of Esther Raush so feel a connection to your family even though I've never met any of you personally. So I am grieving with her -- and all of you -- in the loss of Leann. I can't imagine the grief you all must be feeling in this sudden loss of such a vibrant lady. Just know that I will be praying for your family today, tomorrow and in the weeks and months ahead. Praying that you can somehow pick up the pieces and find a way through God's grace to move ahead. Does anyone know if David, Eric and Jeff are already gone from the Kingdom Heirs? Did they leave immediately following their resignation or did they give some kind of a "notice"? Do you know when they will start their show at the Louise Mandrell Theater? I'm going to be in Pigeon Forge 10/19-25 and want to see them somewhere!

I have enjoyed hearing the Kingdom Heirs for many years and I have seen several changes in the group. The Kingdom Heirs have always been why I have purchased season tickets to Dollywood and I pray that God will supply them with talented replacements for the men who have resigned. At the same time, I wish Jeff, David and Eric the best. Eric has always been one of my favorite members of the Kingdom Heirs and I will be looking forward to seeing all of these men in the Louise Mandrell theatre. Don't look at it like God has torn apart one group but that He has divided the group to form 2 new groups and the ministry will be double strong. Keep on keeping on for the Lord

Just wanted you to know that our prayers are with you. I have been dealing with cancer in my family as my mother was diagnosed with brain cancer in Jan. She was given 3-6 months to live. Of course, that was 7 months ago and she's still going strong!! We know God has healed her!!! We praise Him every day for doing so. No matter what life looks like for you, always remember to praise God for what He is GOING to do!!!!! God bless you!!!!!

When I think of Hissong or one of their concerts, this song is the first to come to mind. "Finally Home" is a great song to release to the radio. Along with its message, The guys present a great demonstration of their ability to sing together as they harmonize on each verse. Every time I hear them sing the song, I believe it gets better and better. Its great to see the conviction in the eyes of Gary, Dennis, and Adam as they sing this song. Believing and knowing that one day, we'll be able to leave this place of sin and sorrow where a child is not even safe in her family kitchen and begin to walk along the Walls of Jasper and on the Streets of Pure Gold. What a glorious Day to know that we are Finally Home!

Gary, Dennis, Adam, We are all very proud of you and support you with our heart and our prayers. You have a great ministry and it is greatly appreciated by all of your fans and roadies. I can remember the day I met New Ground. It seems like yesterday, no wait the day before. Or was it last year? I have one problem with these awards. The music is catoragized into progressive, Country, and Traditional. The beauty of Southern Gospel is diversity. We shouldn't lump certian groups together. It's all southern Gospel Music.

GO CHOSEN FEW! I heard a clip of The Little Things off of SolidGospel.com and I fell in love w/ it. I saved up my money and bought it the 1st chance I had. They quickly became my 2nd favorite group (The Martins being 1st). They are my fav. Quartet, I just love these guys, and I'm very happy they reacieved the nominations that they did.

Thank you for reading the article. I want to say that if your thyroid levels are out of balance this will cause vocal fatigue. Have you got your levels under control with your medication? This will help when you do but you also need to sing easier and softer while you are trying to get your thyroid leveled off. If you push through the vocal fatigue you could damage your voice. If it continues you may want to consult a throat specialist to make sure there hasn't been some damage done already. Take care of your voice it's the only one you will ever have. God Bless.

First I want to say thank you for reading the article. Then I want to tell you to keep reading the article each month. There will be a lot of info in the months ahead that will really help you. Just remember that God is looking for willing hearts and He will help you to improve if you are willing to work. You may want to look into a vocal teacher in your area. If you can't find one you may want to look into one of the vocal schools that are held in the summer. Thanks again, and God Bless.

Vocal damage

I have thyroid (Hypo) problems and due to that I think my vocal cords are damaged. I get hoarse a lot and my voice sound so ragged after singing on Sunday. Am I singing too hard, not breathing correctly or what? I love singing for the Lord. I don't consider myself as a top singer, but I just love to sing God's praises. Please advise.

You know I was praying to God to show me where to get voice lessons and then I went into this website and my prayers have been answered. I thank God for your lessons that you give. God Bless!

Very Very interested

I'm just a country girl never had any singing lesson; but, I love the Lord and I love to sing in Church. I'm not very good; but, I like to try for the glory of the Lord. My husband tells me in a joking way, that I sound like a girl betting a dog to dead with a stick. So I really do need help!

True ministry cannot be defined by talent (although they have plenty). It is defined by a true passion for souls and a "Heart for the Lost". These ladies are matched by no-one when it comes to that.

These young women are the real thing! I have known Jerri and Donna for over 15 years, and they have consistantly lived Jesus Christ before my family and I.
Their harmony is the sweetest thing this side of heaven, and sing! Wow! Can they forever more sing!

But, their ministry on a personal level is what remains so unique about Hope's Call. For they not only talk the talk: they DO walk the walk before their Savior first and formost, and before the brethren and the world.

It is a priviledge to call them friends; yet a blessing to call them Sisters in Christ.

I think this is a great new recording also. Knowing Phil, he will continue to bring us many more great songs even though his group has disbanded. The Poet Voices were a great group during their time together. They like the Singing Americans, always had a great sound even though there were many personnel changes.

Hey guys, thanx again for letting me sing bass with you in Carney, OK, on my birthday (Nov. 24th). It meant a lot to me, especially Billy's comment afterward that he was "impressed." I still feel the Lord wants me to sing full-time with a quartet, but in the meantime I'm singing with a PT mixed quartet here in Seymour. To pay the bills, I'm News Director for a Country Music radio station in North Vernon, IN. (Go figure.) Anyway, I fire up my karaoke and sing with one of your tapes every day (the one with "Rainbow of Love" on it).
