“Is that the sound of chains falling, that I just heard, Freedom, oh what a word!” speaks of Jesus breaking peoples chains and setting them free and that is what this song is about. We wanted people to know that no matter what the situation, Jesus can set you free! I have shared the stage with many people throughout my 46 years in music. In the 1960's, when I was young and just getting started, I was in awe of the stars of music I got to be around. I have shared the stage with actors, politicians, and authors. I am so grateful that God has allowed me the privilege to do these, and many other things The history of the Glovers as a musical group is a tad bit different than that of most groups in the Southern Gospel field. When we began our journey in this music, we didn’t even know the name of a single group within the industry. We were completely clueless to everything The concerns and struggles of our audience help us to focus our approach to choosing songs that speak to many aspects of life in an effort to encourage our listeners.  It occurs to me that it might be helpful to take time out this month and take a look at some of the more noteworthy books published that were written to tell the history of this great indigenous American art form, now most often referred to as “southern” gospel music
 Bubba Smith is a Grammy and Dove Award winning producer who has worked on critically acclaimed projects for such notable artists as Shirley Caesar, the Crabb Family, Karen Peck & New River, Austins Bridge, Sandi Patty, and many more. He was awarded Producer of the Year (Professional) in the 2006 SGN Music Awards
 It's so easy to get on websites, usually under fictitious names, and say things that are very hurtful about people that we really don't even know. In many cases terrible things are said, half truths are commented about
 The underlying common sense in that statement is obvious; people won’t buy tickets to something they don’t want and they don’t like. It’s obvious to everyone except some people in places of influence in SGM
 I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard this uttered by a client or another artist in the business. They go on to tell me how they spent thousands of dollars and never saw any return on their investment. They ran print ads, radio ads and placed banners on websites and still no results
 How many times have you looked back on a conversation and realized, in hindsight, that you could have handled it better, been kinder and been wiser in your choice of words?

 The summer weather is here and many are ready for it to leave already! Here in Georgia, we are in the middle 90's from sun up to sun down; and with the humidity it feels like 100 degrees twenty-four hours a day!
 This last week has been a little struggle for me, I hate to say that out loud, but it is true when you step out of your comfort zone and start doing a little bite more for God or what we are suppose to be doing for God, it is not always easy
 Maybe we’re thankful for specific moments, like a wedding or a healing. But how many of us actually wake up each day and think, “I’m just grateful to be alive?”
