Produced by Zane King and Kevin Ward

After listening to the CD of this fine trio, imagine my surprise when I realized that they had become a quartet. Fortunately they quickly shipped me a CD of the quartet, so I was anxiously waiting to hear the difference in their sound. Would it be better? Would it change them altogether? I wondered just how it would be. Safely Anchored was a great trio, but now they are a magnificent quartet. With the top three harmony parts so tight, adding the Bass part just rounds out the sound.

The title cut of the album, “Just Can’t Imagine” is a nice ballad sang with lots of feeling. Listening to this song will no doubt give you a slight glimpse of just what heaven may be like. “He Has Not Changed” has a nice beat and the track is really neat, while “Naaman” is a real fun song. While both songs are upbeat, they still have strong messages to them. “His Blood Speaks Louder” and “Life Is Worth The Living” are both pretty much traditional Southern Gospel songs with nice harmony and the tracks are interesting. When you’re just drained and need some uplifting, sit back and take a listen to “Holy Place”. You will find yourself raptured into the presence of the Lord.

One of my favorite songs on the CD is “The Greatest Wonder.” Not only is this a very pretty song, but the harmonies are near perfect. The message of the song is so strong that you may find yourself with your hands raised praising the Lord for the Wonder of this great salvation that He has provided for us. My other favorite song is “Go Close The Windows”. You will need to have a hanky ready while listening to this song. This song comes very close to what I imagine God might have been thinking of crucifixion day.

There is not a bad song on this CD. For that matter there isn’t even a mediocre song on this CD. You will want to add this CD to your collection. Other songs include “Live Again”, “New Song”, and “Behind The Stone”.

Safely Anchored's latest cd is excellent. From top to bottom, every song is first quality. I have had the opportunity to see them live and the only thing that beats their latest project is their live performance.

I haven't had the privlege of seeing Safely Anchored in person, but I am certainly impressed with what they have done in the studio.
