When you see this name, you are probably wondering if they are a law firm, or maybe some accountants. I guess they could even be a group of Doctors. When you see their picture you might think they were a gang of thugs, just kidding. These three guys may never help you in a legal case, and they may never help you with your taxes, and they for sure will never come after you with machine guns, but they will certainly bless your heart when they start to sing.
The CD starts with a nice song of Praise and Worship. "Great Are You Lord," the title song will start any church service off in the right direction. The track is big, and full of horns and strings. After getting you into a very worshipful mood you get a taste of "Quiet Time", and that's just what this song does. You will find yourself reminiscing those quiet times with the Lord where your soul has been refreshed. This song did well on the charts for them.
"I'm A Whosoever" was the first song that I ever heard this group sing. I was impressed with their close harmony, and this song moves really well so that you are tapping your foot before you even realize it. "Whosoever" was their first radio release from this project. The current radio release is "I Just Can't Wait". This cut features the smooth Tenor voice of Jonathan White. He sings this song with such ease that you are captured up in the message and pretty soon you "just can't wait" to see what heaven is really like. "Lead Me To The Rock" is a toe tapper that would be a great drive time radio release. "Mercies Are New" has a really nice Progressive sound with an uplifting message.
All of the songs except "Just Got To Praise Him" were written by the group members and this is an area of their talent that should not go un-noticed, because their song writing is being noticed through out the Southern Gospel industry. "Just Got To Praise Him" is one of those old get-up-and-go songs and you will be clapping right along with it. "When He Calls My Name" is one of those songs that Steve Cheney and Sheldon Mencer wrote together and is so powerful that several other groups have recorded it. When this song is over, you'll find yourself standing with your hands raised in praise to our Lord.
Other really nice songs include "A Childlike Faith". "I Talked To Someone About You Today" and "Seasons".
You can purchase one of these CDs at the 5th Annual SoGospelNews Convention. Sorry, I couldn't help myself.
