Legacy of Faith is a fine young male trio from Starkville, MS. Made up of brothers, Chad and Wade Stewart along with friend Greg Thames, this young group has a very current, progressive sound that I think you will enjoy.

“I Hold It All in My Hands” is a great Progressive Southern Gospel song written by Joel Lindsay and Sue Smith. This track is very good and perfect to get the album off and running. “His Love is Forever”, written by Jeff Ferguson, has a little sound of the Caribbean. This is another strong song. Stephen Hill has written a jazzy song that the boys do very well. “Will He Say Well Done” will remind you of something that Jake Hess might have done.

Suzanne Jennings and Woody Wright have written a driving Progressive Country Gospel song, “Just This Side of a Real Good Time”. This has a Gaither Vocal Band feel to it and really drives. “Come Home” is a very strong ballad written by Joe Diquattro. The harmony is strong on this song and the lead vocals are very nice.

Stephen Hill and Daryl Williams have written a strong tune, “Jesus Saves”. This song has been done by other artists but these guys do a great job on it and make it their own. The arrangement is strong on this cut. Producer Reggie Smith contributes the next cut “Twenty Four Hours”, co-written with wife, Ladye Love Smith and Joel Lindsay. This song has a driving beat and would make a good radio single.

“No Ifs, Ands, or Buts About It”, another song from Sue Smith along with Belinda Smith and Lori Wood is a fun song and would also make a good song for radio release. “It Was His Blood” slows the tempo down. This ballad, written by Sue Smith and Brian Petak is very well sung and has some nice chord progressions.

Barbara Huffman and Gary Casto have given us “Tell the Storm”, that reminds us that we can speak to the storms in our life. The guys close the project out with a song form Charles Ritchie Jr., “Holy”. This worshipful song is a nice way to finish off this recording.

These guys have what it takes to make an impact in this industry. When you blend tight harmony, great songs from a who’s who of today’s top writers, and top quality production and tracks, you come up with a winning combo. Legacy of Faith are a group that you should be hearing more from in the future.

What a great CD! These guys really have it together, and I love the smooth country feel of the album. You definitely owe it to yourself to check out this trio and order their CD.

We have had Legacy of Faith lead in our worship service on four different occasions. They are the REAL DEAL. The tight harmony is there; the unique song arrangements; a real nice variety of songs; however, the overwhelming strong point of this group is their sincere and genuine faith in Jesus Christ. The name of the group itself has a special significance to it as their fathers also sang gospel music. Therefore, they
are answering what they believe to be God's call for them to "Profess Christ through Gospel Music". You really need to get this CD, and then invite them to come share Jesus with your church or organization. You'll be glad you did.
